Scientists officially named a deep-sea lionfish Pseudoliparis swirei, and determined that it is the deepest fish known to humans to live in the sea. This small fish that lives in the depths of the Mariana Trench is only about 10 cm long, but its small body can withstand the powerful pressure equivalent to the weight of 1,600 elephants, which is really amazing. Many deep-sea creatures possess some surprising "superpowers" to survive in harsh environments. Humans know very little about these creatures. Due to the special environment of the deep sea, the difficulty of exploring the deep sea is almost as difficult as exploring the outer planet. The deepest trench on the earth, the Mariana Trench, is the most mysterious habitat for marine life.
