Are the whales in the aquarium happy?

Great white sharks have always been a favorite of the aquarium, and researchers in major aquariums are always trying to successfully raise great white sharks in captivity. Among them, the Monterey Bay Aquarium of the United States is regarded as the leader in the captivity of great white sharks and the most persistent "outstanding" among them. In 2004, the Monterey Bay Aquarium launched the Project White Shark (Project White Shark), which aims to study how to successfully breed and showcase great white sharks. This eight-year plan lasted until 2011 and ended in 2011. The longest survival record of the great white sharks in captivity was six months, and the number of visitors reached more than 3 million. As of 2017, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is the only aquarium in the world that successfully showcased great white sharks for more than 16 days.
